Popped wheat grain bread, with only 20 calories, no sugar, low fat, sodium and carbs. it is so light on its own or we eat it with egg salad, precooked chicken. great alternative
These are fabulous! They are popped bread that are made with minimal amounts of sugar, wheat and carbs. They are very low in calories and carbohydrates. They contain about 3 carbs per broghie. Its a traditioinal Irish recipe that I actually first discoverd while travelling in Ireland years ago, only it's made in Canada and sold in Ireland as well. They are like a crispy round wafer, very light and almost with no taste. Great for butter, jam or other toppings. I love them for h'orderves as well. You can't spread anything too heavy on them as they will break however, that is their only downfall. I woudn't recommend eating plain either as they taste rather plain. If you are on a low carb or paleo or sugar restricted diabetic diet, these are perfect.
I mentioned these have minimal amounts of sugar and in fact they have zero sugar.
