    works well

I've owned this flat iron for over 6 years and I have never had a problem with it. It's very affordable and heats up in seconds. It does a great job with straightening my hair. I don't have any problems with it.

I got this straightener as my first 'real' straightener. My friends and I used to take turns ironing each others hair...with a real iron and ironing board.
I used to not think anything too negative about it when I was younger. It did straighten my hair.
But now that I've owned a few other ones, I realize how frizzy it left my hair feeling. It takes forever to heat up. Like minutes. It also took almost 40 minutes to completely straighten my hair and now it takes me about 10 minutes max.
It was big and bulky and took up a lot of room in my drawer.
I would not purchase this again or recommend it.

My friend was raving about this straightener so I bought it and hate it. It's so hard to use and takes a long time to heat up. I regret not returning it.

I have used many hair straightners in the past and honestly keep going back to a salon brand flat iron. This one is good for a quick, touch up per say, but to do your whole head (if your hair is anything like mine) it will take forever and you will get discouraged. if you have short or fine hair, it might work well, but with my LONG and unruley hair, not so much :(

I just received a CHI from my stylist sis in law...it cost her $104 US wholesale....it works very good, but I wonder if it gets as hot as this. I used this one until my niece took it from me! She has beautiful thick hair and this iron works so well on her hair. She actually had to purchase another she used the first so much. The only drawback I see is that it is bulky...and if you have alot of hair, it gets heavy after a while....but all in all I would buy one again no problem.

I've tried endless flat irons hoping that one would do the job without having to break my budget. This flat iron went above my expectations. I have natural curly hair and usually the only way I can get it straight is with a big round brush and a hot hair dryer. Not the case anymore! It takes me about 15 minutes to straighted my thick curly hair and it leaves it smooth to the touch. I would recommened this to anyone who's tired of wasting 30 minutes blow drying their hair, although it is a good arm work out, saving time and energy with the flat iron would be my choice!

I got this for free from Conair during L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto and it's the first hair straightener I've every owned. It works very well. I've seen flat irons for $200 before but after using this don't know why anyone would ever bother paying so much when you can get this one for under $20 and it's very effective.

I used it on my hair for the first time on the last night of fashion week. I was nervous about testing it then it for the first time in case I screwed up but my fears were unfounded. It's so easy to use and instantly straightens hair and gives it a nice polished sheen. I have naturally very straight hair so I didn't think it would make too much of a difference but it definitely does. It makes my hair look more polished and sophisticated vs a quick blowdry that looks like I put zero effort into my hair. I'm definitely hooked.
