I purchased this 120 softgel size bottle of Wild Salmon & Fish Oils from Loblaws and have been taking one per day ever since. The directions actually say to take three per day, but I find that to be excessive. Each caplet is 1000mg and contains 180mg of EPA and 120mg of DHA, which together help to promote good organ function. I saw that oils with DHA had been specifically recommended for women with polycystic ovary syndrome, as we are more at risk for heart and liver problems. I have been taking them consistently for two months and they have been helping me feel healthier overall. My two complaints with them are: 1) the size - they are enormous; 2) they will give you a small case of the 'fish burps.' I have seen some brands of supplements out there that promise no fish burps, but I'm not sure that's possible with salmon and fish oil softgels. Exact is the no-name brand sold at Loblaws, Superstore, etc. chain and was a few dollars cheaper than the brand names.
