I feel like this product did a great job at protecting my hair but I didn't enjoy the texture it gave my hair afterwards. It's not heavy... and it didn't leave it sticky... but I did feel like my hair was much more likely to tangle after applying this spray. Usually if I straighten my hair with no product it's incredibly soft but the texture of my hair after using this product was odd... didn't like it very much. Plus the spritzer on the bottle broke after about 2 weeks of use... not cool

I prefer the Marc Anthony style straight cream but this works alright as well - best if you use them together. Retails for around $11 but can be often found on sale or cheaper at superstore.

It is really important to use a heat protector in your hair if you use a flat Iron. I bought this because of the price and the brand. It did leave my hair very shiny and smooth and frizz free which I liked and it has a refreshing minty smell to it. It did protect my hair, but I found it very, very greasy and that's what turned me off. I have recently switched to Chi 44 Iron Guard and I find it far superior to the Marc Anthony Iron spray. Although it does cost a lot more.
