Love this stroller. The wheels turn smoothly in every direction, easy to operate even with one hand. Light weight, easy to pack in the car. Bassinet is very useful till baby starts to roll around.

Before my son was born, my husband and I went around looking for the perfect stroller. We looked high and low and wasn't impressed with any one we seen, until we tried the Peg Perego Skate! It's was easy to use and moved around with ease. It is a little bulky, but it is built tough. We used this stroller up until my son was one and a half until we tired finding a lighter stroller. So we purchased one from babies r us. Sorry ladies, but I don't remember the name of that one, but its like an umbrella stroller, but better. We spend about a hundred dollars or so and used it a few times until we found that with my son in it and the diaper bag on the handle it became very difficult to push around. We switched back to the Skate and haven't looked back since. The Skate is very easy to push around no matter what age your child is, because of its smooth design of the wheels . It's an overall fantastic stroller, but everyone is different when selecting there stroller. So my suggestion to you is try out a lot before purchasing the first one you see, or if your girlfriend tells you it's the one she uses and loves it. Have fun shopping and I hope the helped.
