Definitely my new go-to moisturiser!

After a 'meh' experience with a different Simple moisturiser, I was a bit nervous about trying this one, but I have to say that immediately I was impressed. It worked extremely well with my combination skin and I noticed just a few days after first use (once a day use in the morning) that the overall appearance and texture of my skin had improved. My skin was also softer and unlike many moisturisers, it didn't make my nose more oily.

For me, the only downside of this moisturiser is that upon immediate application it has a (not very strong) smell of elmer's glue...which is a little odd. The good news is a couple of minutes after applying, the scent settles into a simple, creamy smell, so it's not really a big issue. I love the consistency and it's really easy to apply since the squeeze bottle doesn't over or underdispense. You only need a small amount too.

Definitely my new go-to moisturiser!

Simple Products are a hit and miss with me.

This Face Moisturizer is a thin to medium thickness white cream to which very little is required in order to cover my entire face.

My face has not reacted to this cream (always a bonus), and having the additives of Vitamins E & B5 along with sun protection is extremely important to me as I age.

It falls a bit flat with the after-feeling – it makes my face feel dry instead of moisturized, and slightly itchy.

So overall, it’s okay, it just isn’t the perfect product for my normally dry skin. It may be better suited for someone with combination or oily skin.
