Have been going here forever
Really like the staff. Brian the owner is always super friendly. I just sometimes feel like they make you wait and don’t keep to your apt times so strictly which is frustrating
Needs a refresh & improved service
The shop needs refurbishment as the condition of the chairs and rooms has deteriorated - it used to be in much better shape. The treatment was rushed and not gentle - and my finger was nicked as a result.
I've been several times because it is convenient. But I've yet to be "wow"ed. They are big enough and busy enough that it sometimes feels like an assembly line. They need to get you out to get the next one in. They are average in terms of décor and friendliness. Most other salons that I have visited give you a hand or leg massage along with your mani or pedi so that is nothing special. And I am often offered tea or coffee at other places as well. Cozy does have a more extensive drink menu but it's not what one goes there for. My biggest complaint is from my last visit which will likely remain my last visit. While giving my manicure the technician made fun of how I bite my nails (which I haven't done in 40 years!!!). I denied biting them but made some light-hearted, self-deprecating comment about their condition which apparently gave her the go ahead to continue laughing and making fun of how I bite my nails. She didn't take the hint even after the smile was long gone from my face. I left feeling totally insulted - and my nails weren't even that bad! It was probably a one off situation but enough for me to say enough to a salon that was never better than average in my eyes.
I tried many diffrent nail salons in toronto, This is the best nail salon I ever been.
So many nail colors to choose, Magazines to read and Candies, Drinks are all free!!!
I enjoyed most of time when I was there, One thing is noticeable, There are always busy, therefore
Its hard to book on the weekends. But its worth.
I find that it's becoming harder and harder to find a great nail salon in Toronto. Unless of course I've been going to all the wrong places, which I probably have. I found Cozy Nails after reading reviews right here on ChickAdvisor and thought I'd give it a try. Plus they've been mentioned in a few magazines and I thought, "Well they've gotta be good."
Needless to say, I was hooked after my first visit. For $15 you get a fabulous manicure with your choice of tea, smoothie, or water while you get pampered away. They've got a huge selection of colors to choose from by O.P.I and Essie. My manicures and pedicures are always flawless and last long too.The ladies are so nice and the service is really great. My only problem is with the lady at the front desk who takes payments and makes appointments, she's not the friendliest person, but I'm willing to overlook that since you only deal with her for 2 seconds when you walk in and when you pay at the end. Another minor pitfall, is that they are always busy, so if you don't have an appointment you might be in for a long wait. Other than that, it really is a great place.
Cozy nails has become my new favorite nail salon.
the best deal for pedis in TO. With all the frills you need: massage chairs, good magazines, free smoothies and a candy bar when you are drying your nails.
From the high quality polishes to the deluxe service (a pedicure includes a lotion wrap, scrub, massage...) to the freshly santitized tools and professional staff, this is the best bang for your buck, bar none, in Toronto. The smoothies and romantic comedies playing give it that extra something special. Great for a mother/daughter day, catching up with a girlfriend or just pampering yourself solo. Highly recommend! Never read a bad review on the place either.
I went to Cozy Nails after reading about it online to get my nails done as a treat a few weeks before I had my baby. The place is fantastic. 28$ gets you a lovely pedicure with pretty much all the fancy extras (choice of bath salts, lotions, etc) that you get at the places downtown for 80$. You pick your polish at the door with tons of choices. The give you a drink menu with teas, smoothies, milkshakes and coffees which are complimentary. The chairs are massage chairs that you can set yourself while they are doing your nails. Truly excellent value for money. Everyone is super polite and all the instruments they use are taken out of the sterilization packaging in front of you. Loved it. There's parking on the street or side streets or it's a short walk from Lawrence subway station. Highly recommended!!
This is probably my second favorite place in TO to get my nails done. I love their polish selection and the staff are helpful with advice if you need it. Overall the staff are friendly and professional. Their prices ($40.00 for a mani/pedi combo) won't break the bank with the current economic slowdown. The manicures I have done at Cozy Nails always last the longest hands down. Their decor is not the best ( the all white look can become grungy over time) but you get what you pay for and the prices and service are worth every penny!
