In a superscientific poll on ChickAdvisor (point, click, vote), it was recently revealed that Mascara is the most important part of our makeup routine.  It's no wonder, then, that mascara products have dominated our Hotlist since its inception, ranging from tried-and-true favourites to the newest hot products on the market.

With so many products to choose from, which lashpaints topped our list?

Mascara giants Maybelline New York and CoverGirl have been neck-and-neck for months.  For volume, CG's LashBlast is the overall favourite, with MNY's Colossal running a close second.

The clash of the titans continues, with MNY's Lash Stiletto in the lead and runner-up CG LashBlast Length getting mega points for a natural yet stupendously long eye fringe.

Boutique brands DiorShow and Lancome Definicils are in the mix, proving that often the product is worth its price.

Honourable mentions go to classic faves L'Oreal Paris Voluminous and Maybelline New York Great Lash, tube-style hit L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes, and newcomer Maybelline 'The Falsies', a recent win from our Product Review Club.
