10 Ways to Inject Spring Into Your Beauty Routine
If the icy ground and bitter winds are anything to go by, spring is still a little ways away. But real talk: I am so sick of winter. I am tired of being cold, tired of wearing jackets and sweaters. I don't ever want to see a pair of boots again. Spring cannot come fast enough. In an effort to let Mother Nature know that I am totally up for spring anytime she wants to come on by and drop it in my lap (PLEASE!), I've started injecting spring into my beauty routine.
While winter is a time for deep, dark jewel tones, spring demands light pinks, corals and pastels that seem like a breath of fresh air! While winter means dry, parched skin, spring brings in more heat and that means it's time to break out the mattifyers. So, while you may not be ditching your parka just yet, I think we can toss out the dark lips and introduce some light glosses into our lives!

Good post. | |
I can't wait to go to Shopper's and try the Lollitint. I love Benefit, so this will be my introduction to Spring (this I say as I look for my warm tights).
Definitely love reading chickadvisor blog posts! I am always finding new products to try out. I really do think that changing your beauty routine to the time of the year is true because I do this all the time. Right now I am trying out the 2 hair repairs that are mentioned in this post and cannot wait to review them both. Spring time be here already!!!!
The blush trio up top looks interesting! I've also been known to change up my perfume every now and then, as well as my eye colours... tends to happen every season or so without me noticing. Someone had to point it out to me!
A good BB cream, an all season solution.
If you want to go light on foundation, I highly recommend using mineral products. They work for a lot of different skin types and look very natural when applied.
There are a lot of great products here. I completely agree with changing up your skincare. I used to have really dry skin and I used cream cleansers and moisturizers to combat that but I didn't realize my skin changed and I was still using the same products. My skin became the oiliest it has ever been. So, definitely monitor the changes in your skin and tailor your skincare routine based on the changes.
These all look good to me! I've been trying some new products this month (like Olay's Out of This Swirled in White Grapefruit & Green Tea, which smells amazing!), that are getting me in the mood for spring - I can't wait for winter to be over!
