15 (Almost) Too-Cute-To-Eat Easter Desserts
Strictly speaking dessert-wise, Easter is the BEST holiday. I mean, part of the holiday is going around finding chocolate, so obviously the sweets are going to be ah-mazing. I also think Easter is the cutest holiday. You guys, there are bunnies and chicks involved. So, why not combine the two best things about Easter?
Here's our round up of some of the cutest, sweetest and most adorable desserts out there for Easter. They're so cute you may not even want to eat them... ok, you still probably will and you'll only feel a little bit bad afterwards.
1. Macarons: These are an essential springtime treat! They're so cute, come in pastel colours and have the perfect light, almond taste. And you're in luck, because we just posted a super simple recipe for them.
2. Tuxedo Peeps: I have a secret love for Peeps, so I'm all about these adorable, suited up ones! They're very easy to recreate yet look like you spent a ton of time on them! Full instructions here.
3. Cupcake Eggs: It's a cake in an egg. Kind of incredible, no? Plus, it doesn't look too challenging.
4. Poured Fondant and Petit Fours: Imagine these with an afternoon tea on Easter Sunday. Doesn't that just sound heavenly?
5. White Cake & Strawberry Cream Frosting: White cake is basic and you could even cheat and make it from a box. The strawberry cream frosting is what kicks it up a notch.
1. Cream Egg Brownies: Brownies are awesome. Cream eggs are awesome. Together? Double super duper awesome.
2. Cadbury Cream Cookie Cups: I'm not sure what to say about these, other than they're incredible and I want one in my mouth. Like, now!
3. Cheesecake Carrots: Remember, if your food looks like it's healthy, it doesn't matter if it actually isn't. Therefore, you can eat all the "carrots" you want. Here's the recipe.
4. Cream Puffs: We worked this recipe up last year. We couldn't get enough of it, so we're bringing it back for round 2!
5. Lemon Squares: There's something about citrus and lemon that makes it the best ingredient for Spring. It's just so fresh! Try it out with our lemon squares recipe.
1. Peeps Rice Krispies Treats Pops: SO cute, amirite? And so deceptively easy. You could actually just buy everything pre-made with these (don't worry, I won't tell).
2. Easter Eggs in Brownie Nests: You can go for a homemade brownie, a box batch or even those two-bite pre-made brownies. These are easy, look gorgeous and are simply mouth watering.
3. Homemade Peanut Butter Eggs: A no-bake recipe (rejoice)! Check it out here.
4. Mini Malted Milk Cheesecakes: The crushed chocolate malt ball topping on this one has me totally on board.
5. Bunny Tails: I mean, the name says it all, right? They're so sweet and will only take you a few minutes to make!
Which one of these desserts are you dying to test out?
