Is it just me or does the start of fall automatically turn into MAKE ALL THE THINGS PUMPKIN?! Now, don't get me wrong, I love pumpkin. I seriously think pumpkin pie should be an all season dish. But c'mon gals, there are a ton of other delicious fall flavours to be discovered! Like cinnamon or nutmeg, and apple! These tasty ingredients don't get enough attention. Here's the take away: there's more to fall than just pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks.

To celebrate and help you the fall into the feeling, I found 15 things you'll FALL in love with (OMG the puns!). Whether you're DIY'ing your pad as you start to move into hibernation mode or you're looking to solve some fall skin woes (dry patches? I feel you), we have novel ideas and pieces of inspiration for you. And yes, we included a pumpkin spice latte. As if we could ever leave that out...

Fall foods to devour...

1. As promised, a delicious pumpkin spice latte recipe.

2. This fall, I say we all learn to bake bread! Sound good? Here are 5 savoury recipes to try out.

3. Pumpkin risotto is so fall that it hurts.

4. Who says ice cream is a summer time treat? Add pumpkin magic shell and it's instantly seasonal.

5. Apples are in season! Take advantage and make this cider.

As you spend more time inside this fall, why not upgrade your abode with small and simple touches?

1. Easy peasy art is inexpensive and adds a nice touch to a living room.

2. Bring those plants indoors for fall and put them in a colourful fabric covered pot.

3. Have some old chairs that need a makeover? Simple! We'll show you how.

4. Chalkboard paint EVERYTHING. Here's a handy list of things to use it on and how to make your home super adorable.

5. Sweaters mean cozy. This is essential for fall. Bring some of that coziness out of the closet and into your living room with this DIY.

Solve your skin woes and add some fall colour to your life!

1. How fun is this magnet board for a work station? Can you believe it's actually a cookie sheet?

2. Make your own beeswax candles and set the mood for a romantic, homemade dinner (with pumpkin risotto perhaps?).

3. This pumpkin and apple cider mask is super seasonal and excellent for brightening up dry skin.

4. National Coffee Day just passed and the smell of coffee is one of my absolute favourite scents so I thought it was only right we showed this coffee body scrub (add cardamom and cinnamon for extra fall-ness)

5. I'm obsessed with jewel tones and dark colours for fall - bring some of those shades to your mani.

What will you be doing this fall?
