Grammys bring out the weird in people, so it sometimes can be hard to know who's serious and who's pulling our leg.

There was big hair...

...and outfits that bored.
Leann Rimes, Natasha Bedingfield, and Katy Perry (plus PDA-playing hubby)

The flops (both intentional and not?)...
Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Willow Smith (cool purse, hon, but the rest is just confusing)

Selena Gomez, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez

Okay, I know I'm going to get flack for these thumbs-up (with the possible exception of Selena and that stunning pink lip), but this is the best we've seen from Nic so far in 2011 (as in, not boring) and J.Lo works it like no one else, agreed?

Gaga of course gets her own mention, as would anyone who arrived on the red carpet inside of an egg (at right, how she looked when she hatched).  Very Madonna-meets-Klingon-warrior-maiden.

And let's talk about Kelly Osbourne for a sec.  Don't hate me, but I kind of love this dress--on her.  Maybe I'm swayed by the absolutely gorgeous makeup.  Is it just me?
