3 Bridal Shower Themes
Summer is the peak season for weddings, and that means many of you are probably scrambling to throw together bridal showers for your sister, cousin, or best friend.
It’s nice to give the shower a theme because it will be easier to narrow down ideas for games, party favours, and decorations. Here are some of our favourites:
“Stock the Pantry”
Mail out a blank recipe card with the invitation and instruct each guest to write down their favourite recipe to share with the bride-to-be. Along with the recipe card, tell guests to bring a non-perishable food item that you can donate to your local food bank.
“Party of Firsts”
Instruct guests to bring gifts that correspond to a “first” that the couple will encounter during their first year of marriage. Examples include: first night together, first child, first fight, etc.
“Fond Memories”
Guests bring their favourite picture of themselves with the bride-to-be. At the shower, each guest will add their photo into an album and write a note explaining why they chose that specific photo.
