Now I want a honeysuckle nail colour! I'm wearing a bright pink today and it just makes me happy every time I look at them.

I also recently purchased a lavender that I'm obsessed with.

Violet and grey are by far by favourite nail colours.
I really like OPI, I don't find that their polish chips or peals as much as anything else I've tried.

Thanks mamaluv, I was looking at the Burt's Bees web site last week and was wondering if that was worth my money. When I was pregnant with both my boy's my nail were beautiful, but I haven't been able to get them like that since then. It must have bin all my hormones running wild that made them so nice back then.
I'm like spotty when it comes to colour on short nails. I like it on other people; I just don't care for it on myself. Any how I'll pick some of that cuticle cream up this week and I'll let you know how it worked out for me.

I love Essie's Haute as Hello! I also have the Revlon Gumdrop and I love it. I'm really into pastel colors lately...

@takoda I also have weak nails and have tried many different products (strengthening enamels - made my nails strong but not flexible = brittle; nail proteins - same; etc). The best I've come up with is to use a cuticle conditioning product. Since your cuticle is an important factor for overall nail health, keeping those in tip top shape has made a big difference for me. It takes a little longer to see results, but I'm very pleased. My personal pick is Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, but there are many other fine products out there.

@spotty Short nails with really bold dark colour are hot right now! Think smoky grays, violet blacks, navy, etc. My personal preference would be to shy away from lighter colours, but that's just my opinion :)

I keep my nails short for practicality (as in just a teeny teeny bit of white at the tips). I rarely paint them, though, b/c I feel short nails look weird when they're painted. But I really like these colors and my go for it anyway. What do you think? Do short nails looks strange w/ paint?

Very nice colours, I just wish my nails would all stay long enough to try some of them.
Every time I get close one will brake off, then another and so on until I have to start all over again.
Does anyone know of a product that might help my nails stay strong?

I love the bold punchy shades. I'm also excited about the trend towards white and beige. It's something different and elegant.
