5 Hot Off The Runway Spring Looks I'm Dying To Try Right Now
Isn't it the way it always goes? When summer hits, I immediately crave sweater weather and when fall comes around, I yearn for sunshine, flowers and beaches. In an effort to stop my whining and bring a little spring into my step, I decided to start injecting some spring beauty into my daily routine.
Sure, it may not be the 'of the now' jewelled smoky eye. But you know, what? I don't care. These looks are as fresh as daisies (if daisies were in season and in my mind, they totally are).
Here are 5 looks from the 2014 spring runway shows that I can't wait to try out:
Graphic white liner and cat eyes at Kate Spade: I love how this makes your eyes look mega big! It's different but still accessible and pretty. I can totally see myself sporting this. Bonus for the french mani pointed tips. (image via bellasugar.com)
Bronzed babes at Dsquared2: Check out that sunkissed glow. When winter gets you down, there's nothing like a good bronzer to pick you back up! These chicks look like they just returned from an Italian villa vacay. The flush is perfectly paired with an orange lip. (image via fashionising.com)
Reverse cat eye at Missoni: This is a super cool alternative on the cat eye. Instead of adding your wing at the end of your eye, put it in the inner corner. Love how wearable this is. (image via wwd.com)
Plaid manicure at Tracy Reese: Sally Hansen provided this simple but super chic mani at Tracy Reese. Love that shade of green! This could easily be recreated at home too.
Matching pastel nails and lips at Prabal Gurung: I'm not usually into pastels, but this Easteriffic shade of pink from Sally Hansen is so sweet and feminine. I love the idea of being polished with matching lips and tips!

 | AHHHH! I love the pastel lips and nails! I have those exact shades and I soooo want to use that now! In fact, my two colours are black and pink anyway, so I reckon, I will be seen around with that 'Spring' trend.... (^_^) |
