5 Popular Halloween Costume Ideas
It would be easy to say that for Halloween, the Less Things Change the More They Remain The Same. It can be difficult to find unique ideas for dressing up, especially when some of the uber trendy choices are just so much fun.
We recently showed you our easy-to-try DIY Halloween costumes, but in case you want to play it popular, here are some of the Halloween ideas that are trending right now:
Charlie "Tiger Blood" Sheen
Charlie Sheen was on the Today Show recently chatting with Matt Lauer about his new and improved outlook on life, but it was his dizzying series of rants earlier this year that cost him his lucrative Two and a Half Men deal and a big chunk of his credibility with many fans.
Now his notoriety is making him one of the most popular Halloween costumes of 2011. Could it be his winning attitude? (*groan* sorry)
Pick any bowling shirt or grab a Winning tee, then slap on a crazy wig and your Ray-Ban Wayfarers to complete the look. And yes - if you must, there are also plenty of Charlie masks to choose from.
Angry Birds!
Fun for the whole family: go full-bodied, Junior-sized, or just a topper over black tee and pants (please choose pleather, we're begging you).
The best thing about this costume is you're well protected in the event of some highly regrettable booze-induced dance moves or the aftermath of a bad sugar rush. Yeah, you know it's gonna happen.
Zombies
Zombies are back in a big way - yawn. Kick it up a notch by zombifying celebs like Zombie Winehouse (a wig!), Princess Zombie (here's an easy DIY way to recreate her fascinator), or perennial fave Zombie Jackson (another wig!). Ghoulish makeup and fake blood complete the look (and the clumsier the better in this case).
Superheroes
Superheroes make an appearance every Halloween and this year is no different. Catwoman, Captain America, and Green Lantern costumes are easy choices for the whole family.
The 1980s
With Footloose in theaters, it's no surprise everyone has the '80s on their minds. All he needs is a mullet wig (just ask John Stamos), while she goes for big hair, an oversized sweatshirt and leg warmers. Done.
Which look is your favourite?

These are kinda cool. I'm so tired of seeing Angry Birds everywhere though! haha. I think I'd pull of that 80's look, but any day of the week - I love it. Those knee high leg warmers are awesome!
I would love to do a zombie Marie Antoinette... but mostly for the dress and hair :)
ANGRY BIRDS! How did I know there'd be a costume of this?
