You have been dreaming about a fairytale wedding as long as you can remember. The bridal gown is the ultimate expression of this storybook dream, and since you only marry once (ideally) a captivating dress is the first major purchase on your list.
We break down key trends in long wedding gowns:

Structural looks incorporating tiers, layers, ruffles and added fabric on a wedding gown give us that wow factor. It can add fun and character to a wedding gown, so forgo the “less is more” - be daring instead.
Ian Stuart, Romona Keveza, Ines di Santo
The One Shoulder look has been all over the runways and red carpets, and are now on brides. Spice up a simple gown with statement-making embellishments like a big flower on the strap.
Angel Sanchez, Manuel Mota, James Clifford, Manuel Mota, Vera Wang
Simple Touches on wedding gowns keep them classy, such as simple beading and lace on sexy figure-hugging shapes. Don't overpower this elegant look with heavy accessories.
Benjamin Roberts, Vera Wang, Maggie Sottero
The fantasy-inspired Mermaid Style enhances sexy curves, while hiding flaws with ruching down the front and back.
Augusta Jones, Monique Lhullier, Eugenia Vasiliadis, Manuel Mota
The Grecian Goddess dress is a high waisted gown with floaty materials like chiffon. This classy look is perfect for slim figured women.
Oscar de la Renta, Mori Lee, Justin Alexander
The Ballgown style comes straight out of your Cinderella dreams. The classic style creates gorgeous cleavage and a barely-there waistline. What more could a girl ask for?
Which is the style of your dreams?

I am torn between the Benjamin Roberts, Augusta Jones, and Mori Lee gowns. Now if I had the body and the potential husband then I would be off to the races. lol One can always dream. They are all so wonderful! | |
If my husband were to propose again and we had another wedding... ;) I'd pick the Manuel Mota dress. It's so elegant and classic. I love the lace back. |
