6 Tips for Curly Hair
Curly hair is a full-time commitment. Curls can be frizzy and unruly, but when managed right, they are fabulous and fun.

Just look at Mariah Carey for inspiration. She was seen sporting these fantastic curls that made me long for the days of Always Be My Baby and Hero.

And 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord looks incredible with her short-curly 'do.
Here's how to get gorgeous curls:
1. Wash less frequently (we can do this because our hair is less oily than straight hair!)
2. Skip the shampoo and go straight to conditioner. Shampoo strips the natural oils from your hair, which dries it out (dry = frizz).
3. Deep condition weekly. ChickAdvisor member JoScho likes Got2B Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner.
4. ALWAYS use leave-in conditioner after your shower to retain moisture. Aveeno Nourish+Condition Leave-In Treatment got rave reviews on ChickAdvisor.
5. Use styling products that contain silicone (look for "dimethicone" on the bottle) and be sure to coat every curl! Silicone molecules are too large to be absorbed into the hair shaft, so they act as a protective coating that retains moisture and eliminates frizz. Try my beloved BioSilk Silk Therapy that I've been using over 8 years.
6. Let your hair air-dry as long as possible, then use a diffuser. Hold the diffuser under your hair while squeezing the curls in your palm.
