7 Days Of Style: How To Look Fabulous Every Single Day!

I mentioned last week, that it is my mission this spring and summer to look gorgeous every single day. With my track record, this goal isn't going to be easy but with the gorgeous makeup colours and trends this spring, I think I can definitely manage. One of the toughest parts of this is actually the fashion area.

You wouldn't think it would be all that challenging, but it's so easy to not think and just throw on jeans and a tee in the morning, isn't it? However, this year, it's going to be different; I'm aiming to be chic and trendy whether it's a rough Monday morning or a lazy Sunday afternoon! On that note, I've gathered some beautiful pieces for 7 days bursting with style. Now, I'm ready to get my shop on!

Play on the bold and bright denim trend by pairing a colourful pair of bottoms with a modern top in a neutral colour. Add some funky jewellery, a minimalist envelope clutch so that you don't overdo it and a great pair of chunky wedges!

Nasty Gal Bound Platform Wedge (US$78.00)
FCUK Sub Silky Tie Blouse (US$118.00)
BDG Neon Grazer Mid Rise Jean in 'Pink' (US$68.00)
HelloBerry Bracelets (C$14.00)
Fashion Union Black Pieces Envelope Clutch Bag (UK$18.00)

A sleek, cropped trouser is perfect for summer in the office. Pair it with a fun patterned button down and a lightweight sweater in a bold colour. Mandy chose these leopard flats to pair with this outfit and I couldn't agree more with her choice! If you aren't into animal prints or flats, the idea still stands; pair any eye catching shoe with an otherwise basic outfit.

Banana Republic Logan Fit Slim Ankle Pant (C$124.00)
J Crew Tippi Sweater in Linen (C$79.50)
Gap The Perfect Striped Shirt (C$49.50)
Kelsi Dagger Frances Flat (US$104.00)

This romantic and vintage looks is one of my favourites! I love the pastel colours we're seeing this spring and summer. The sky blue and baby pink go wonderfully together, matched with a wedge and a cute pearl necklace.

H & M Blue Dress (C$69.95)
Deena & Ozzy Metal Edge Satchel (US$69.00)
Payless Brash Platform Wedge, available May 2012 (US$34.99)
Infinite Pearl Circle Necklace (US$24.00)

Ships ahoy, matey! This outfit is inspired by the ever popular nautical theme. I put my own twist on it for adding the 'it' item for the season: the sheer, pleated skirt. I paired it with a loose, slouchy knit sweater, a bright quilted bag and a great pair of beige heeled mary- janes (take note ladies- nude colour heels make your legs go on for miles!).

Joe Fresh Crochet Sweater (C$29.00)
Chic Wish Color Block Pleated Skirt (US$35.90)
Shop Ruche All For You Beige Heels (US$68.99)
Shop Ruche Yacht Club Quilted Clutch in 'Yellow' (US$29.99)

I love this look, but seeing as this dress is my pick, I am a bit biased! I'm peter pan collar obsessed and I love this light pink collar. I'd keep the rest of this outfit pretty tame, going with a black strappy sandal and a black and white clutch so I don't over power the stand out item.

Zara Pink Collared Dress (C$59.90)
Zara Basic Sandal (C$59.90)
Tobi Strapping Clutch (US$42.00, on sale)

There is nothing better for your wardrobe than a great fitting blazer. I chose to be bold in this choice and go for a teal blazer but if you wanted to go for something tamer, any neutral colour is equally as gorgeous! This geometrical black and white sleeveless blouse is colour blocking done right and of course, you must always own a pair of dark wash denim. These slimming pants are essential, ladies. Pair with a flat for walking around or a wedge sandal for something more formal.

T. Babaton Fleming Blazer (C$225.00)
T. Babaton Anita Sleeveless Blouse (C$110.00)
Old Navy The Rock Star SUper Skinny Jeans (C$30.99, on sale)
Christain Siriano for Payless Cindy Woven Flat (US$29.99)

This is a great example of an outfit that takes no time to put together while still making you look put together. Throw on a fluttery dress in a blush colour paired with a flat in a trendy colour, add some gold bling and you're finished and yet, you look so cute!

Forever 21 Flutter Cutouts Dress (C$29.80)
Aldo Warnack Flats (C$70.00)
Jacob Long Necklace (C$19.00)
Jacob Bangle Set (C$15.00)

I can't wait for warm weather so I can start wearing skirts again! Leave a comment and let me know; which day is most like your style or what spring and summer fashion trends are you looking forward to?

Thanks AlecJC! :) I will check Old Navy and Urban Planet first since
there's one of each of those where I'm located! If not it's Urban
Outfitters! I just wish they didn't have such high shipping to Canada
:/

@sirenstarlight These ones I used are from Urban Outfitters so you could order them online if you wanted, otherwise I've seen coloured jeans at anywhere from Forever 21 to Old Navy to Urban Plant/Behaviour. This particular pink colour is pretty unique though, I agree I haven't seen this colour at a lot of other places, your best bet is online!

I couldn’t find pink jeans like that anywhere in the mall here. :( I found pink full length jeans with zippers,
but that’s not much good to me because I’m short :/ I’m going to keep looking! I don’t think I’ve been this envious of a
clothing item in a long time. Lol

AlexJC: Sometimes those necklines work for everyone, but not all dresses are the same. Have you ever shopped at Heartbreaker? They have great cute dresses for ladies with curves:)

I love the dolly dress. Comes in many different colours and is similar to the peter pan look :)

@Becky you've definitely got the right idea! I tried to go with pieces that you'd be able to mix and match with and it's always good to have a mix of trendy and classic in your wardrobe!
