Lee Dewyze (left) was crowned the winner of American Idol Season 9. He beat out runner-up Crystal Bowersox (right). Even after losing, Crystal said she was still incredibly happy for Lee.

In other Idol news, Simon Cowell bids farewell to the show. This was Simon's last season with the show, and rumours are flying about who will be taking his spot. The show is saying that no one will be replacing Simon, and instead there will be a guest judge on the panel each week.
