Andy The Anh defined Spring 2009 with airy flowing dresses, sparkling hair accessories and appliques and embellishments.
The tailored suits were mostly in black and white with paneling detail. White and black is a common trend for Spring, though we weren't feeling the suits this season as much as past collections.
However we do love this dress...
High futuristic meets the 50s hair and long pink feathery lashes made the models look like barbie dolls.
The swirling rosettes on these pieces were stunning to look at, though best suited to size 2's please.
One thing that makes Andy The-Anh's show one of the most anticipated and heavily attended of the week are his dresses. Gorgeous flowing, light as a feather dresses with asymmetrical straps, sparkling details, beautiful tailoring and a critical eye for detail. Andy's dresses look just as good from the back as the front because of the details.
Andy The Anh is one of Canada's finest designers and he has recently opened a new boutique in Yorkville in Toronto in addition to his Montreal stores. If you get the chance to see one of his shows in person, keep an eye out for his family in the 2nd row. They come to every show and it's just the cutest!
