Back to School: Grown Up Lunch Ideas

Remember the days of juice boxes, Dunkaroos and Fruit Roll Ups? If you're like me, this wasn't so much 10 years ago as it was 10 days ago. Yes, that's right. I'm an adult woman who enjoys a good juice box every now and then and I don't think there's anything wrong with that! However, I do think the rest of my lunch box may need a bit of an upgrade. I'm done with the PB&Js and ham and cheese sandwiches. I think that this September, as we all head back to school and work, it's time for some grown up lunches!
It can be as simple as adding in some new flavours to spice up a basic sammy (cilantro lovers, anyone?). Or, for the extra foodies in the crowd, in can mean whipping up a batch of pasta salad. I rounded up 10 recipes that I'm dying to try out next time I brown bag it!

And after you've made yourself a gourmet lunch, you're going to need to pack it in something. Ditch plastic bags and the lunch tin you've been hauling around since grade school and try a lunch tote fit for a lady instead! While you're at it, be sure to pick up all the extras for your take away lunches, too!
