Beastly Beauty: Fly-Legged Falsies
While grotesquely fascinated by the idea, our first thoughts were:
(1) this can’t be sanitary
(2) they don’t even look attractive
(3) Why do the fly legs have to be real? Faux fly legs may have been a better idea (and only as a Halloween accessory at that).
The Fly-Lash was designed by a young British artist, Jessica Harrison, who had the desire to design her very own set of fake lashes made entirely out of fly’s legs.
Jessica, we give you points for creativity, but we just can’t imagine anyone trying these!
Your thoughts?

Yikes.. All I can think about is how itchy those would be, I got the creepy crawlies looking at those. I agree with the other ladies that can be sanitary. I love art but I think that's a little too far and a little too creepy. Gets your attention though!
really beautiful.Thanks*

omg! that's nasty! | |
No way in hell would I ever try those on my lashes... unsanitary & gross.
Yuck - no way - that doesn't even look attractive.
Actually, I don't think she did it because she thought it was a new breakout trend. She's an artist and was probably fiddling around to see if it could be done and what it would look like. My cousin is an artist and makes all kinds of weird stuff - nothing that comes close to these though!
I think that is gross and unsanitary and just plan weird. Why would anyone who is in their right mind do that? Even me with my barely there lashes wouldn't go that far. Yuck!!!
wrong, wrong wrong! | |
totally gross, |
