We love nothing more than discovering quality independent designers. So, we contacted owner & designer, Robyn Klauer right away to get the inside scoop on Chick behind these beautiful pieces.
ChickAdvisor: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Robyn: I get my inspiration from many places. Lately it's the stones and metals themselves that inspire me. I have learned that less is more. Sometimes I just have to let nature speak for itself.

Robyn: I love the flexibility, but even that has it's challenges. Flexibility also means being able to stay up until 2am to work, even while knowing you will have to wake up at 6am. It also means being able to juggle armloads of boxes in one arm, while carrying my daughter with the other arm for my daily trips to the post office.
ChickAdvisor: What was the toughest part of starting your own business?
Robyn: Fear of rejection! It is very nerve-racking to put yourself and your work "out there" for all to judge. But the rewards make it all worthwhile.
