Quick! You're on vacation and after a long flight, you've finally landed at your destination. Only (gasp!), they've lost all your luggage including all your makeup and every skin care product you've packed (NO! THE WORST!). So, what's a gal to do? Well, with only a few bucks in your pocket, you need to decide what to do: do you spend your cash on some great makeup or excellent skin care? I know, it's a hard decision.

So, if you have to choose, what do you go with makeup or skin care? What's your poison chicks? Personally, I'm all about the skincare. I believe that beauty starts with great skin, so I like to focus on getting soft and clear skin. What about you? I would never go out without at least properly washing and moisturizing my face, and don't like applying makeup onto skin that isn't freshly cleansed. As long as I was vacationing somewhere nice and hot, not having makeup wouldn't bother me too much anyways because I don't wear much of it in warm weather. All I'd really need was a good cleanser, moisturizer/sun screen and I'd be set!

If you focus on taking care of your skin, then hopefully when you have no access to makeup, all the time and product you have spent on your skin will pay off and you can do without the makeup. I think that makeup should be used to enhance your natural beauty; not as a mask to hide behind. Good skin care lasts a lifetime and caked on makeup will always look like caked on makeup if you don't take care of the skin under it.
