Beauty Tip: Brighter Eyes in 30 Seconds or Less (PLUS Enter to Win!)

We know how it goes: some days you have plenty of time to go all out with your eye makeup, but other mornings you're rushing out the door and need an eye-brightening, natural look that you can pull together in less time than it takes to find the last bottle of Starbucks Frappuccino hiding out in the back of your fridge.

Revlon recently sent us their new Spotlight Eyelash Curler to try out.  It's a neat little gadget designed to make curling your lashes easier with the help of a built-in LED light.  The double ridge bar helps you to create a natural-looking curl (unlike the crimpy results of a botched metal curler session), and has a replaceable battery to boot!

It also reminded us that there are still some of you beauty holdouts who don't realize the incredible difference the simple step of curling your lashes can do for your look, instantly giving you a more youthful and bright-eyed appearance.

For those of you new to curling your eyelashes (or if you've never used this model type before), here's a quick How-To:

Hold the Spotlight Eyelash Curler with the Revlon logo facing toward you and click the red button to turn on the LED light.  Reach up behind the clear bar and pull the black lever downward. Using a mirror and the light to guide you, position the contoured pad near the base of your upper lashes.  Squeeze the trigger downward with your finger to apply gentle yet firm pressure to curl your lashes for about 10 seconds.  Click the button again to turn off the light.

1. Mandy was such a good sport to come into work without any eye makeup on, don't you think?  Here is her "Before" picture.

2. Curl your lashes using the Revlon Spotlight Eyelash Curler - position, flip, press, and release!

3. Set your curl with a swipe of mascara.  We used Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara in 'Blackest Black' here.

Do you see the difference?

Here's an even easier question: do you want to win a Revlon Spotlight Eyelash Curler for yourself?  We have 50 up for grabs!

Good luck!

Mandy has the perfect almond-shaped eyes. You can really see the difference between the two pictures. This look suits her so well.
I like how it's is so minimal and natural-looking. This is definitely an ideal look for students like myself who don't have all the time in the world to do their makeup in the morning.

Great trick!! Sometimes i'm in such a rush, i don't have time to apply top eyeliner (cuz you know how it takes SO much time to apply? And gotta take into account messing up an eye at least once which requires a do-over), but i still want to get a fresh "done" look... I apply a bronzy gold (I'm "Brown", if you're Caucasian I would go for a pinky-gold) wash of eyeshadow all over my lid and slightly past the crease. I then apply eyeliner lightly to the bottom of my lashes... and voila, "done" look in minimum amount of time! :-)
