#BeautyTalk: I Hide This Beauty Routine from the BF - What Do You Keep Secret? (Comment to Win!)

After dating for a while, the next logical step is to consider moving in together. At least that's where I am at with the current dude in my life. When the subject was first brought up, I was excited. I mean, my boyfriend is a pretty ok guy (I like him enough, I guess) and this felt like a real grown up step for the lady who once stated that her relationships almost never lasted longer than a bag of milk. Then I started really breaking this idea down. After the honeymoon phase, what would it actually be like to live with a BF?

I could deal with my toilet seat being in a permanent up position and I could deal with him TURNING ON FAUCETS AND WALKING AWAY, but with one thing that scared me? He'd find out my deep dark secret beauty routine: bleaching.

Like all ladies, I have a very small amount of hair on my upper lip. Not so much that it requires waxing or lasering but there's a little peach fuzz that a 10 year old boy about to hit puberty might be proud of. I don't like the way it looks and so to make myself feel better, I bleach it.

My boyfriend doesn't know and I don't want him to. I prefer to keep a little mystery to my good looks. I don't want to destroy the romance and I like to think I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. If we do end up moving in together, I might end up waking up at 5 am every morning to get some alone time in the bathroom, but at least my beauty secret will be safe.

So now, I'm turning it to you chicks: is there a beauty routine you do in secret away from your significant other? Is there something you've been keeping from them? How do you hide it? Or, have you ever been found out?

I have upper lip hair that I have to pluck once in a while - I don't really know why I'm embarrassed by it but I totally am!

I keep an eye on my Chinny chin chin...there's a single, course hair that I do NOT want him to see or know about. Creepy thing is my sis has the exact same....lol...she'd kill me!

I can totally relate to Wendyroy, and have a coarse hair on my chinny-chin-chin.
I have massive hormonal issues and since my 4 surgeries, I've noticed the hair. So I pluck it out with a tweezer, and then I'm good to go.
Since my hair is dark brown, it cannot be bleached. I'm sure my bf has noticed it once or twice, but he is one of those guys that are so chill.
I think as long as we ladies don't let ourselves go, completely. We will all feel better about ourselves, no matter what our guys or girls say!

Peach out!

I have an occasional course hair on my chin that I remove , but sometimes I don't notice it right away.

I try my best to maintain a all natural beauty routine, so I use a lot of things that I keep from him. The one thing I keep a secret is using honey as a face cleanser and mask. It is sticky and quite messy. Since I like to leave it on my face for long periods of time, I make sure I only use it when he is not home.

I use Andrea Hair removal cream on my upper lip and he has no idea - or at least doesn't mention it when I accidentally leave the package out. 5 minutes after my shower (while moisturizing, brushing my hair etc).. But I don't think I would be bothered if he mentioned it; what could I say, Why don't YOU try it?! haha

Recently I started walking around my place with my Blue straight-off-television-from-the-70s face mask (blue corn mask from body shop) and the first reaction was a "WHOA" face, then next time he asked if we can use it together 'so my face can be smooth '!! SCORE!!!

My Nana always believed in having some mystery. Women are fascinating to men - so I'd like to keep it that way. There are certain beauty routines that I make sure happen without his knowledge - bikini trims, upper lip stuff, eyebrow shaping, even my weight. I'm sure he's aware of it, but just not on a conscious level. It's not a lot but even after years and years together, these are mine alone.

I don't know I live with my boyfriend and I only have for 6 months, but I got nothing to hide!
