#BeautyTalk: What's Your Best Feature?
It's almost Valentine's Day and there's one person you need to profess your love to: yourself! That's right, you're awesome (after all, you are a ChickAdvisor member) and you deserve to shower yourself with love and sweet nothings. That's why this week, in #BeautyTalk, we're going to be discussing... YOU!
We want to know what you deem your best feature! Now, it doesn't have to be physical, it can be your wonderful sense of humour or generosity, but it could also be those eyes that have massive eyebrow game. Whatever it is, we want to know.
As for us chicks, Christina knows exactly what her best feature is and shared her story with us:
Ever since the day I popped out of my mamma's belly, everyone always comments on my dark features. I never knew exactly what this meant but I suspected it was a nicer way of saying: 'gee, you have a lot of hair'. I thought of my bold brows and thick lashes as a flaw rather than an asset. I had a uni-brow for a good ten years, but I discovered my aesthetician and that got all fixed. As I got older and started playing around with beauty. I took comments on my “dark features” as compliments and learned to play up my lashes with mascaras and shadows and embraced my bold brows. They are part of who I am and I love them.
So chicks, what part of you deserves some recognition this year? Let us know by leaving a comment below OR let's talk via Twitter! Just tweet @ChickAdvisor with the hashtag #BeautyTalk to win a prize pack full of beauty products worth C$35.00!
Good luck!

I have long eyelashes, and some days I play that up with dark eyeliner and mascara and #werkit :)
I know I have a beautiful smile!
I always hated my hair because it wasn't curly, and it wasn't straight... it was this odd mixture of both and never quite sat the way I wanted it to. Cutting it shorter didn't help, but having it too long dragged me down... I eventually figured out how to manage that and the strange dry looking pouf it does regardless of how much I moisturize it. Much better :)
my favs are my eyes, my legs, and my bum..... love them all to pieces.
I have always received compliments on my eyes, which I am told are a captivating blue...allows me to just put on mascara and lip colour on lazy days and still look good!
My eyes! | |
I love my eyes. But I get a lot of hair dresses telling me my hair if very healthy and soft. (To bad it won't do what I want it to do).
Probably my lips. Both my parents have thin lips so I was surprisingly lucky enough to be gifted with fuller lips. It doesn't rival Angelina's but I like it. :)
I think I have great green/yellow flecked eyes and a great smile. |
