Behind the Scenes at ChickAdvisor: Take 2

A while back, we gave you a little sneak peek of what the daily life at CA HQ has been like. In turn, you let us know about some of the awesome happenings in your lives. Since we last spoke, CA has been busy with events, visits and lots of fun times, so we thought we'd play catch up with you lovely ladies.

Here's a snippet of some of the awesome things that have recently happened!

1. Kraft Peanut Butter has some new delicious flavour options for your PB needs. Including: Honey, Banana Granola Peanut, Cinnamon Granola Raisin, and Cranberry Peanut. Sounds mouth watering, no? To celebrate, they sent a peanut buttery goodness filled brunch to the office and we feasted like nobody's business.

2. Mr. sun is shining bright today, but we've had a few days of humidity and rainy weather. This picture of the city view from our office was snapped by Co-Op Shannon

3. Here's a familiar face! Remember Miranda? She's back at our HQ and looked particular gorgeous and summery in that pretty yellow top!

4. You might recall reading about our in-house bake off to determine the best CA baker (side note: don't believe what Shannon says about being the winner, she's clearly lying). What you didn't get to see was the cocktails we paired with the dessert. Shannon made a blackberry apricot cocktail and I poured a prosecco with muddled strawberry, raspberry and a dash of strawberry syrup.

5. I've been obsessed with baths lately, so when Vitabath invited us to check out some of their new scents, I jumped on it like it was cake after a month-long diet.

6. We filmed a review for Maybelline's newest mascara and had a blast doing it. If you haven't seen the video, be sure to watch it right here.

7. Hush Puppies were kind enough to swing by and show us some of their newest styles for spring and fall. Ali picked up this fabulous fuchsia pair of loafers (also featured in our guide to cute but comfy shoes).

8. One of MAC's latest and most covetable collections is 'All About Orange'. Here are two of the beautiful, bold shades we were sent to test out.

9. Ali got to attend an event by Conair where they debuted an innovative curler. Check out that space age looking device!

10. Our salesperson Maggie got a super technological and comfy pillowy office chair. Have you ever seen anyone look so genuinely happy before?

11. Everyone needs an afternoon sugar rush, so we had office donuts! This bad boy selection included maple bacon flavour and a peanut butter and jam, among others.

12. Toronto's Luminato festival is wrapping up this weekend and as part of the festival, I saw miniature doll size versions of designers Viktor & Rolf's runway pieces. They're a bit eerie, but up close you can see that the craftsmanship is amazing. They'll be on display all month long.

I was at my hair dresser's the other day and one of the girl's just happened to be trying out her new curling iron. It was the same one you're showing us here only hers was blue. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. It sucks the peace of hair right up and into it and when it's done, it beeps and lets go. You don't have to move your hand at all!! This is great for people that have trouble with their wrist, or hands. If you haven't seen one in action you really have to check it out, it so cool!!
