Last week we asked Winnipeggers about the Best Bug Repellents on the market.  In case you've never visited Winnipeg, please take our word for it that Winnipeggers are extremely qualified to answer this question. 

Although 2 of our ChickAdvisor staffers are ex-Winnipeggers and thought they had tested every option, even they were blown away by the variety of mosquito repellents you suggested (prompting an almost immediate trip to Canadian Tire).
