Britney Spears "I Wanna Go" Video: Playful Or Painful?

Britney Spears' newest music video has just dropped. The song is "I Wanna Go" and the video reflects the song's theme of wanting to break out and do what she wants, as well as her battling with photographers (who turn out to be Terminators?) and going on a road trip with a guy who likes milk (like, a lot). Watch for the twist ending!

What do you guys think? Is it tongue-in-cheek or a bit bittersweet knowing her troubles in the past?

I had to pause the video just right to figure out why her eyes looked like that. Makes for a very interesting look!! I don't really like the music video 'cuz I don't really get it...whats up with the milk and shells and 'droids? Weird! But I did like watching her outfit, hair and makeup. Very fun look :) And I love how she got her body back! :) :)

I don't understand what Brit's doing lyric-wise. "Hold It Against Me" was the same. It seems like we put up with exchange-student lyrics from Ace of Bass, but Brit I'd expect more from. Musically, it's what I call "stuff you can dance to", so it's fun but not deep. I guess I'm kind of snobby that way - want to have both.

I love BritBrit, but I love crazy Britney even more to be honest! She is so much more interesting when she's off the deep end! I am happy though that she seems to be taking care of herself, her kids and taking control of her career. She just did an interview with Harpers Bazarr where she seemed a lot more thoughtful and mature.
