Tragic news broke this morning at 10:04 a.m. that 32 year-old actress Brittany Murphy has died.

Recent reports from a Los Angeles County coroner’s official say she appears to have died of natural causes. She had been rushed to the hospital after the Los Angeles fire department failed to resuscitate her in the Hollywood home she shared with her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack. A call had been made to the fire department at 8 a.m.

Murphy was known for her roles in “Clueless,” “Don’t Say a Word” and most of all “8 Mile.” My personal favourite of hers would have to be Uptown Girls in which she starred in 2003 opposite a nine year-old Dakota Fanning.
