@satojoko - People rate what they've had opportunity to try. Since many of us get our beauty products from mainstream retailers, that's where our experience is. I love to try new and independent beauty lines but they can be hard to find, even hard to find out about!

MUF HD powder is cheap junk, to be quite blunt. It's nothing but silica spheres, which are dirt cheap to purchase at wholesale prices. Try approximately $2.50 for an entire ounce, IF you're buying only an ounce. If you're a billion $$ manufaturer, you'd get it for pennies for an ounce. MUF products are greatly overhyped and over priced. I have tried many of them, from foundations and powders to eye shadows and concealers, and all their foundations broke me out after a few uses. I can only use their concealers under my eyes for the same reason. Their eye shadows are also over priced. Similar products, and even superior ones, can be gotten for much cheaper. Their cream shaodws dry out very fast and are not worth what they charge for them.

I personally haven't fpund any of the other products in the top here to be any good either. I really don't understand why they would be rated so highly when they are so full of cheap ingredients and do nothing for the skin. Have women lowered their standards in the past 5 years or so? MAC's Mineralize Skin Fi8nish I find has NO coverage whatsoever. It is more of a finishing powder, and does magnify pores because of the shimmer it has in it.

and my mom has been a loyal user of the CG Professional powder since I can remember!

I still prefer the Bare Minerals powder rather than the Physicians formula... i found it too shiny!!!
