Upon the upset that was the People Magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year (I mean, Channing is a hottie and all but Sexiest of all, he is not), we at ChickAdvisor immediately started compiling our own list of sexiest men. Because clearly we know better than the folks at People (no offence). 

So, let's do without the usual chit chat and get to the good stuff: the men. Here are 10 men we couldn't get out of our heads this year. 

Sexiest Guy You Can Take Home to the Parents: Andrew Garfield
 

He's so adorable, British and he's dating Emma Stone (and she's our girl crush, so he's gotta be cool, right?). He seems like a genuinely fun guy who'd make us laugh and take care of us when we're down. 

Sexiest Guy with Swagger: Ryan Gosling 

 
Whether he's all dapper in a well cut suit or he's comfy and casual in jeans and a white tee, he is F-I-N-E. Dayum, he is wearing that hoodie vest like nobody's business. He just exudes ultimate coolness. 

Sexiest Ab-tastic Guy: Channing Tatum 
 

Though he isn't our top pick, we will give him this: the boy has got some washboard abs that could cut glass. We drooled our way through Magic Mike. 

The 'Classic' Sexiest Man: Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is everlasting sexiness. He's not going anywhere. He'll always be a top sexy pick. 

Sexiest Eyes: Ian Somerhalder 
 

While he isn't my favourite, Mandy has convinced me that Ian does have some pretty sweet baby blues. Not only are they piercing, but they're framed by some great brows too!

Sexiest Style: Pharrell 
 
 
Can we please talk about this man's style? Please? Also the fact that he is 39 years old? Um, how is he ageless? He pulls off almost any style and he looks confident and classy. 

Sexiest Brother Duo: Chris and Liam Hemsworth 


Mmmm...their parents deserve a medal. I'm quite partial to Chris personally. I like his rough and manly side, but Liam convinces me that Katniss belongs with Gale.  

Sexiest Smile: Joseph Gordon-Levitt 
 

Look at that smile. Look at it! How can you not melt when you see it? It's goofy, sweet and sexy all at once. 

Sexiest Funny Man: Ryan Reynolds 
 

If a guy can tell a great joke and wear a suit like that, then you know you've hit the jack pot. Well done, Blake Lively!
 
Sexiest Generally Sexy Guy: Tom Hardy


If Mandy and I work together for 8 hours, and 1 hour of that day is spent discussing the various ways in which Tom Hardy is crazy hot, there's definitely something to him! Check out those lips? Way kissable. Did you see him in Lawless? I had never seen a man wear a cardigan so well until that movie.
