There has been a lot of buzz around the Product Review Club and if you haven't signed up yet do it NOW. This club started because I (Ali) was getting loads of fabulous products from companies looking for reviews. I figured instead of hogging all of the goodies to myself, I should share it with our members! Plus, let's be honest: One product does not serve all.

The Product Review Club is a fun way for you to test and talk about new products - often before they hit store shelves. It is mutually beneficial for members and brands:

1. It gets ChickAdvisor Members access to exciting new products to test, review and keep! Past items have included Mineral Makeup, Mascara, Lip Balm, Shampoo & Conditioner, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Spa Products, Books, Electronics Accessories and even Chocolate! All products are full sized (not samples).

2. It helps brands build a lot of awareness and trial about their products, get excellent qualitative feedback, and long lasting recognition both on ChickAdvisor and search engines such as Google. It's a proven fact that our reviews drive purchases!

Members are not charged anything to participate in the Product Review Club nor are they paid for the reviews. It is 100% unbiased and based on their individual opinions. We select the most appropriate reviewer for each item based on surveys and past reviews.

Register for your very own ChickAdvisor account.

Review at least 5 items on your own. This gives us a sense of your reviewing style and lets us know you have an opinion and want to share it.

Members are required to complete this survey and are selected to review products based on compatibility for that item. For example we may be looking for 100 people with oily skin within a certain age range, etc.

Reviewers must agree to review the products on ChickAdvisor within 14 days of receiving them.

Brands interested in participating should send us an email. Sponsorship fees apply.

In our surveys, we ask you to provide a direct link to your member profile. To find this, log in to ChickAdvisor, go to your profile and copy the link to that page. For example, this is mine:

If you meet all the requirements (and they are (1) to fill out our quick survey application by using the link under "Step 3" above, (2) to ensure you have at least 5 product or service reviews posted, and (3) you adhere to our general usage policy (no member bashing, no spamming, etc)), you are automatically accepted into our Club. Note: this does not mean you will qualify for a testing panel every time. This just gets you on our exclusive mailing list! Question: How do you add your "direct member profile"? Answer: Log in (if you have not already done so). Under your Dashboard on the right hand side, click on "My Profile". The URL in your address bar should now say http://www.chickadvisor.com/chick/______ - your profile name appears at the end. This is what we want you to copy and paste into the form. If this is still confusing, you can enter your profile name. Question: I'm only interested in unscented products... Answer: Every time we have a new Product Review Club offer, we will notify our Club members by email. Those who are interested in the product or service being offered must fill out a short survey to indicate their interest. This survey is different from the sign-up survey you did when applying for the club and always appears at the bottom of the article in which the offer is announced. From those that apply, we select the number of participants according to the quantity of products we have to pass out. Therefore, if you are sensitive to fragrances, just don't apply for any scented products when you see the announcement. Question: How often do you have Product Review Club offers? Answer: That depends - at the time of this post we do not have any active offers, but new ones are in the works so stay tuned! Question: How do I get products to test? Answer: First, follow Steps 1-3 in the article above. Then keep an eye on your email for announcement of a new opportunity. Joining the Club does not guarantee you will receive freebies.
