Cozy Up With These November Reads
I don't want to be a downer or anything but, uh, November kind of blows. It's cold. It's dark like all the time and here at CA HQ, Christmas is still sooo far away. Also, we've already eaten all our Thanksgiving leftovers and we've overdosed on our Halloween candy. To get us in a good mood, we think it's time for a pick me up. We're thinking some quality 'me' time, a warm cup of tea and a good book by a fireplace.
Here are a couple of new reads to curl up with and getcho' literacy on:
1. The Valley Of Amazement By Amy Tan (C$20.99)
2. Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy By Helen Fielding (C$16.50)
3. The Cuckoo's Calling By J. K. Rowling, Robert Galbraith (C$19.14)
4. Doctor Sleep By Stephen King (C$19.24)

5. The Most of Nora Ephron By Nora Ephron (C$23.30)
Be sure to pour yourself a cup of something warm to get super cozy too! And while you're getting cozy with your book, cover up with a throw or add a comfy pillow, here are a few options for you:

oh man - I think everyone I knew had a Hudson's Bay blanket growing up.. usually old when I was a child haha.. these things gets passed down! What a tradition! It saddens me deeply that such an iconic and traditional and important Canadian brand has been sold to the Americans.. sigh.. tis the way our whole country seems to be going :( | |
