Cozy Up With These November Reads

I don't want to be a downer or anything but, uh, November kind of blows. It's cold. It's dark like all the time and here at CA HQ, Christmas is still sooo far away. Also, we've already eaten all our Thanksgiving leftovers and we've overdosed on our Halloween candy. To get us in a good mood, we think it's time for a pick me up. We're thinking some quality 'me' time, a warm cup of tea and a good book by a fireplace.

Here are a couple of new reads to curl up with and getcho' literacy on:

1. The Valley Of Amazement By Amy Tan (C$20.99)

2. Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy By Helen Fielding (C$16.50)

3. The Cuckoo's Calling By J. K. Rowling, Robert Galbraith (C$19.14)

4. Doctor Sleep By Stephen King (C$19.24)

5. The Signature Of All Things By Elizabeth Gilbert (C$20.46)

6. Longbourn By Jo Baker (C$16.50)

1. The Luminaries By Eleanor Catton (C$19.25)

2. Perfect By Rachel Joyce (C$17.97)

3. The Rosie Project By Graeme Simsion (C$9.99)

4. Mom & Me & Mom By Maya Angelou (C$17.16)

5. The Most of Nora Ephron By Nora Ephron (C$23.30)

Be sure to pour yourself a cup of something warm to get super cozy too! And while you're getting cozy with your book, cover up with a throw or add a comfy pillow, here are a few options for you:

1. Hudson's Bay Company Collection Multistripe Caribou Throw (C$150.00)

2. Crate & Barrel Brush Red Throw (C$52.32)

3. Target Threshold Oversized Cable Knit Toss Pillow  (US$34.99)

4. Zara Home Two-Tone Mohair Throw with Fringes (C$189.00)

5. Kate Spade Hopscotch Drive Mug (US$19.00)

6. Target Geometric Links Toss Pillow (US$29.99)

7. Homegrown Monogram Mug (US$8.00)

What's your favourite November read? Or what's your go to pick me up for cold November nights?

I love that Zara Home Two-Tone Mohair Throw.

I'll be reading Stephen King this winter. I started his Dark Tower series years ago, but I stopped because I had to wait for him to finish writing all of the books. Now that I think he has, I'm going to start over and I'd like to get through all of the books before spring.
