DIY Beauty: Fall Face Mask

(image via luxedb.com)
I am about to freak you out. Here goes: Thanksgiving (for us Canadian chicks) is only about two weeks away. I KNOW, RIGHT?
But hey, it's cool. You know why? Two words: Pumpkin. Pie. I love me some pumpkin pie and I love me a great, cleansing face mask. And this got me thinking, can I fuse my two loves together? Which brings me to today's DIY beauty facial mask that contains (you guessed it) pumpkin!
Pumpkin contains enzymes that get into your pores and take out dirt and other yucky unmentionables. This mask also contains apple cider vinegar which acts the same as glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is said to help with anti-aging and reducing dark spots. Plus, the cleanser contains rose water, which is soothing and helps to soften your skin.
Here's what you'll need:

1. Heritage Store Rose Petals Rosewater Spray (C$13.29) : You need 1 1/2 Tbsp
2. Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (C$5.99, on sale): You need 3 Tbsp
3. Farmer's Market Organic Canned Pumpkin Puree (C$3.79): You need 4 Tbsp

Did you know that you can actually make your own rosewater? Yup, it's true! It's pretty simple and you can click over here for the full tutorial. I'll leave it up to you if you want to take this extra step. It's most likely around the same cost as buying and certainly quite simple. The added benefit with DIY's is you know exactly what goes into your beauty products.
The How-To:
Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Apply to your face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and you've got cleansed skin!
