DIY Cocktails: The Sweet White Russian
It's almost my birthday (#winkwinknudgenudge) and it's Friday and it's one week 'til the Labour Day weekend. If that isn't a reason enough to celebrate and have a delicious drink, I don't know what is. Today, I've got a doozy of a drink recipe for you! It's a twist on a White Russian that I've creatively dubbed 'The Sweet White Russian' (ok, not so creatively). It's a really fun and quirky drink to have on a girl's night in!
Here's what you'll need for this cocktail:
1. Cereal: Get your favourite, sugar-packed cereal. I've included a few of my personal favs above.
2. Milk: Any kind your heart desires!
3. Coffee Liqueur: i.e. Kahlua, Tia Maria
4. Vodka: 'nuff said.
Intrigued ladies? Now, here's how to create this cocktail:
Step 1. Make cereal as you normally would. You'll be tempted to eat it. Don't. Instead, let sit on the side.
Step 2. Fill glass with ice, pour in your desired amount of vodka. I recommend 1 - 1 1/2 shots.
Step 3. To this, add half as much of the coffee liqueur.
Step 4. Now take your soaking cereal and strain the milk into your glass of liqueur and vodka.
Step 5. Transfer your drink between two glasses to shake and presto, you're done!
Pretty cool, eh? Anything that combines Cap'n Crunch and vodka is alright in my books! Would you try this cocktail chicks?

Hm.. I've honestly never thought of this idea, and probably NEVER would have! I can only imagine how much sugar would be packed into that drink - Yikes! Definitely going to pass this on, though.

To bad they don't have Count Chocula cereal anymore(not sure if anyone remembers that one!)But the chocolate taste would be soooo good..Although anything with vodka in it is ok in my books lol..
I drink White Russians all the time, but without the cereal.. not sure what you do with it anyway.... and instead of milk use cream.
