Fall Trends Street Style
I love people who play by their own rules. I appreciate celebs like Lady Gaga and Beth Ditto who break tradition and colour outside the lines. These are the people that pave the way for future trends, what starts out a something bizarre often turns into the big trend for the next season. In this edition of street style, I’m celebrating those who break the mold and show us what is to come next!
What I love about Dayana is that she seemed so genuinely surprised that I wanted to take a picture of her, like, “Me? You want… me?”. I love that she is channeling a retro, European vibe with her lace up espadrilles and her woven belt. Her lovely, feminine ruffle top continues this theme but then she contrasts it with a fun and utilitarian inspired jumper. Now- I haven’t seen an overall type jumper in a while and I was actually very excited to see one on the street- a new trend for Fall/Winter 2012?
I always say- go big, or go home- there isn’t any room for safe styles here! When I first saw Leeor, I loved the colour of her skirt. Then I realized… they were awesome pants! Hurray for flared high waisted pants! They look fabulous on her figure, they elongate her legs and they are just really cool. Because her pants are such a statement piece, she keeps it simple on top with a plain tank. Her giant rings are excessively amazing, (that’s a new trendy phrase I’m trying out btw) I love the knuckle and snake rings- sure to be a hit in fall or winter.
I feel like some fierce competition is going to erupt between Marcela and Leeor in this post! Both ladies are wearing very similar pants that I am in lust with (Need I repeat? Flared. Wide Leg. High Waisted.). Only they style these attention getting trousers in different ways. While Leeor goes for an indie edge, Marcela's outfit has a romantic, ladylike feel. Her baby blue bottoms in a floral pattern paired with a peasent blouse reminds me of a flower child in the 60's and I love it! Her sweet owl necklace that adds some cuteness and fun to the outfit. Marcela also had some great makeup going on- her eyes pop in a pinkish, red hue, with a smoldering stare!

I like all three outfits but I would wear Leeor's outfit. I would have picked Marcela's if it was a floral skirt instead of pants.
I love love love Marcela sooo much , Hippie style is my favorite:)
Love Dayana's outfit the most. But I probably would have picked Marcela if it was a floral skirt.
I love Dayana's outfit. It's so different.
I like Leeor's style the best.

I'd definitely wear all three! I really like Leeor's look, but I'd probably add a necklace to it to make it more excessively amazing! |
