Festive Makeup: Glam Gold Eyes
We gave you a taste of the golden holiday trend in our preview of gold brocade dresses, but this metallic is also rather easy on the eyes...
Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Hudson
Any eye colour can pull off this look. Add brown or copper tints like Charlize and Jennifer for a glowing effect, or dab some gold on your inner eye and use black eyeshadow to create a glamorous smokey eye Scarlett-style.

Thanks for the suggestion Becky! I'll give it a try and let you know how it turns out :)
I adore this look .. Jan why not try a gold with pink undertone and see how that works out for you? i can just see u with it and in my minds eye it looks fab :)
Love the gold, but I found that whenever I wear gold/bronze make-up, it tends to look like I have dark circles around my eyes. I think it's my skin tone :(
I love this too! It does look great with light colored eyes. I have brown eyes though so I'll have to look up how to do Jennifer Hudson's make up.
I have green eyes, so I wear golds often. I've never tried it in a smokey version like Scarlett Johannson, but now I'm inspired. Love this look!
I love gold makeup any time of the year. I think it's very flattering for blue eyes and on darker skin tones. Thumbs up! |
