Fujifilm Instax Competition Honourable Mentions
We asked and you delivered! A few weeks ago, we asked that you submit your most creative ideas for using a Fuji Instax Mini 50S camera we were overwhelmed the awesome response. We chose the top 20 answers- these lucky 20 are our finalists! Eight of them will go on to win their very own Instax! But that's not all... you can win one too!
How? Everyday, you can vote for your favourite idea, the top eight with the most votes win a camera but everyone who votes is also entered to win one of two Instax cameras as well- yay!
While we wish we could give one away to everybody, we unfortunately can't, so we decided to compile a list of the honourable mentions- ideas we loved but that didn't make the top 20. Thanks to everyone who entered and please don't forget to vote!
Our Honourable Mentions:
I would use it to document my sisters pregnancy and present her with a scrapbook of all the great shots, that I was able to jot down captions and notes on! - Jamie Hall
Using this camera, I would create a calendar for my mom for Christmas. She loves calendars, but always takes forever to find one. I'd take pictures of her favourite places, people and things, and use them to mark special days throughout the year! :) - Kristy Spencer
I love design. If I had one of these gorgeous cameras I would use it to create a photo door into my room. I would take pics of anything that inspires me, from nature, to friends, to my favourite outfits. Then I would string all the photos together. After stringing all the photos together in the size and shape of my door I would pin them up over the entrance to my room. This would create a photo door. Then whenever I walk into my room I could be inspired and excited. Not to mention it would put a totally personal touch to my room! - Anne Robinson
I think a very creative thing to do with the Fujifilm Instax prints would be to compile a very special memory Birthday book from the start of the year to the time of the loved one or friends birthday comes around to give to them. I think it would be so neat to take some shots every month that highlighted the fun things that you did with them; it would cover all the four seasons and all the special holidays and outings throughout their year. I know I would love it if I received something like this because it comes from the heart and no big fancy gift could measure up to it! - Chris Creamer
I would use the instant prints to put together a memory mosaic. Although each of the instant prints may only capture a small area or idea, you could take a series of pictures at events (like parties or weddings!) and arrange them to form a larger image, creating a memorable, one-of-a-kind art to display. A picture is worth a thousand words...imagine what a whole series could be like together :) - Agnes T
I like to make picture frames - adding jewels and words to go with the theme or holiday. Fuji Instax instant prints would give it an old school authentic look to it! These are great gifts as well as novelties or party giftbag inserts. - Heather Holmberg

@ME TOO!!! There is nothing wrong with lyrissa proposing to her boyfriend in fact i think it is a great entry. But heres the problem I HAVE when she goes into my family's guest book where they have clearly written they have voted for me and writes directly above that comment to come vote for her that is really not nice at all.

Cannot believe that Satojoko and MichaelT are ripping on a young woman trying to propose to her boyfriend, you all sound insane ...I VOTED for you LyrissaSmillie, Good luck!

Luck has nothing to do with it. Underhanded tactics are getting you votes. Not luck. At least tell the truth.
People can read it for themselves and vote if they think yours is the best. That's what a CONTEST is about. Winning if you have the best idea. Not winning by scabbing votes everywhere. You've been trolling other people's guestbooks who are part of the contest and asking those who voted for them to vote for you. THAT is what the problem is. It's underhanded and sleazy. If your idea is so great, don't you think they would vote for you without having to be begged to do so? There are far more original ideas that do deserve to win. These are the kinds of sleazy tactics that politicians use.
Good luck everyone! :D | |
I really do NOT like the way some contest participants are going around scabbing votes for their idea. It's unethical and sleazy. Their votes should be completely disqualified. Been watching this for days and just can't stand it anymore. Really really sleazy. And the person knows who they are....leaving 'vote for me' messages in everybody's guest books is pathetic.
These ideas were soo cool! One of mine was an honorable mention :) |
