Hair Trend: Will You Try Blunt Bangs?

Bangs worn bold are dramatic and edgy, and we think the fringe is a perfect fallback look for Autumn.

Fashion designers are the best at forecasting trends, and for their Fall/Winter 2010 RTW runway shows, many styled their models with these fierce fringes...

Plenty of celebrities have dabbled with blunt bangs...

Ciara, Lady GaGa, Naomi Campbell

The look suits women with long faces or large foreheads...

Tyra Banks, Christina Ricci

...and can give a youthful pep to other faces.

Fringes don't suit everyone, so think carefully before cutting them. They require regular trimming to maintain the style, and they shouldn't hide your face or your favourite features...

But the good thing about them is that they grow out eventually, and unlike hair colour it's a change that won't damage your hair whatsoever.

It took a good six years for it to grow back to the same length as the rest of my hair. I also find it tends to look better on younger woman, or just a few face shapes, but that's just me.
