Halloween Party Ideas, Decor and DIY

Does anyone else start planning their next Halloween costume on November 1st? I don't think I am alone here. Halloween is seriously the best. It's the perfect holiday for a gal like me who loves anything sweet and loves to play dress up. I also love a good Halloween party. It's the perfect occasion to bust out creepy knick knacks, bugs, skulls and anything black. So. Much. Fun. It's basically like being a kid again.

Here are some amazing DIY projects, decorations and party ideas for your upcoming festivities. Get ghoulish, chicks!

(clockwise from top left) Use spray paint and stencils on burlap for this simple and festive table runner.

For a chic but slightly macabre centrepiece, use a fruit palette of deep plums, blues and browns.

Don't have a costume, sip a drink with these fanged teeth straws and voila - instant vamp!

(clockwise from left) Serve up yummy shots in syringe format.

Believe it or not, these creepy eyeball martinis are edible radish and olive combos.

Cut out eye shapes in toilet paper rolls and add glowsticks, place in bushes and you've got some monster eyes to stare at all your guests

(clockwise from top left) Cheesecloth strung up can be used as cobwebs.

Use construction paper, fishing wire and branches for a bat mobile.

Freeze water in a latex glove, it'll keep your punch cold and looks super scary!

LOVE the hand floating in the punch bowl. However, these gloves often have a powdered coating and you can't really "rinse" that off (as she says on her page). Plus, lots of ppl it seem have a latex allergy, so maybe the drinking of the glove isn't as great an idea as it seems. ALTHOUGH think we will be doing this just as centrepieces - maybe with the hands in red and them floating in water so that as it melts it looks bloody . . . OH YA just gave myself the best idea :)

At this years Halloween party we are going all out with decor! You can never go wrong with spiderwebs and white sheets!
You can also get someone to lay on the ground, put black tape on the ground around them and you now have a crime scene! Looks really cool!

Nice idea's, I really like the stencil on burlap idea and the syringe shots. I'll just be handing out treats to the kids like I do every year.
