Hells Angels Suing Alexander McQueen?
And here you thought the last thing they cared about was designer fashion.

The New York Post reports that the Hells Angels are suing Alexander McQueen. Specifically, the motorcycle gang famous for their ear-splitting Hogs, acute sense of personal style, and more than a few brushes with the law, has taken umbrage with McQueen's designs featuring what they believe to be their trademark imagery.
They claim that the offense is even personal.
"If you've got one of these rings on, a member might get really upset that you're an imposter", explains Fritz Clapp, a lawyer for and member of the group.
It's not a hard stretch to suppose these tough guys and gals wouldn't appreciate a fashionista traipsing down the sidewalk with a Chihuahua stuffed in her Chanel handbag sporting McQueen's designs. But others say that skull-inspired fashion is everywhere and not necessarily infringing on the Hells Angels symbol. Indeed, much of McQueen's current collection is full of skull imagery.

Further to my other comment, I think the skulls are rather unfortunately placed, don't you? ;)
Yup, you wouldn't see me in the dress. I can see the similarities but I don't think it's that close a match.
"LOLLLL" to Mamaluv's comment!!!!!!! We need "like" buttons for comments!!! :P
I don't think I'd want the dress either. The way the flames come down into the pelvis - doesn't that look like a uterus?
I'm not going to take the chance of offending a Hell's Angel! No McQueen skull rings for me! |
