Hot Trend: Colourful Sunglasses

Why wear boring black and brown shades, when you can light up your face with some colour! Marc Jacobs is responsible for designing these spectacularly bright sunglasses for the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2010 collection.

The sunglasses use arty technicolour, and the looks were inspired by New York and Parisian trendsetters, who were photographed sporting the shades.

Many celebrity fashionistas have already embraced this trend.

Other designers have infused their sunglasses collections with some colour as well. Here are our top three summer shades with a splash of colour.

1. Wayfarers
The popular square-frame sunglasses look even hotter in this bright orange by Ray Ban. They are available online for $130 USD.

2. Two-toned
Prada offers an ultra-feminine look with these two-tone oval sunglasses in pink. They are available online for $160 USD.

3. Retro
Chanel gets retro with its new spring summer collection. The collection features an array of 70s-inspired styles like this hot pink pair. They are available online for $250 USD.

Are you ready to trade in your boring shades for a colourful pair?
