Now that January has come to an end, it's time to shift gears into Valentine's Day preparation mode. After all, the sexy ain't gonna bring itself back.

Candles, lingerie, chocolate sauce…BORING. Why not try branching out into uncharted territory? After all, nothing's sexier than a chick who's willing and eager to try something new.

Have you ever heard the expression: location is everything? Well, it's true. The world is your coital oyster. Banana Republic change room - Yes! Near empty showing of Mall Cop - Yes! HIS parents' house - Yes! Yes! Yes!

If introducing a new location into your sex life doesn't whet your appetite, how about treating your partner to a sassy peep show or burlesque number in the privacy of your home? Here are some tried and true tips:

1. You'll need a fabulous outfit, so dust off that private school uniform or find something mildly scandalous in your closet. If you're feeling particularly ambitious, make yourself a skimpy costume that caters specifically to your man's likes.

3. Watch Britney, Beyoncé, or PCD music videos for inspiration, pick an upbeat song and hammer out some simple yet sexy choreography. Your dance moves don't need to be epic; instead, focus on the art of seduction.

The key to putting on a good show - you've got to commit. Don't let yourself feel silly or babble about how bad it's going to be before you even give it a go. Bottom line is, as long as you look like you're having fun and feeling sexy, your partner will love it.

4. While you're at it, why not pick up a lil' something extra from the neighbourhood sex shop? Better yet, bring your man along and pick something out together. 5. Last but not least is our favourite easy breezy tip for getting your guy hot and bothered. Some things are hard to say out loud without getting flushed or embarrassed. Instead, we suggest leaving raunchy notes for your guy to find as he goes about his day. Try his pant pocket, wallet, or fridge. Upon discovery, he's bound to spend the day fantasizing about taking off your drawers… with his teeth.
