I’m Renovating my Bathroom, and This One Little Switch Made All the Difference
We recently renovated our en-suite bathroom from country granny kitsch (courtesy of the previous owners, not some unforgivable design choice on our part) to a clean spa-inspired space.
Had I the foresight, I would have taken a “before” picture to share with you, but at the time did not want to admit to our years-long procrastination on this situation and was only too happy to leave the past behind. (Sadly I can’t give you the “after” picture either, because – as I may have mentioned – I have wild children who find an immaculate bathroom to be a particularly enticing challenge… one they are currently winning, by the way.)
Follow me in your mind’s eye then – marbled white & gray floor tiles, a double-sized walk-in shower, sleek pedestal sink and the plushiest towels I could find. It was all so perfect, but the finishing touch was missing. I have never given much thought to the type of toilet tissue I was buying, so after hearing good things about the luxe, pampering feel of Cottonelle’s Ultra Bathroom Tissue, I stopped in at the store to pick up a package during my next errand run.
Of course, it was the one little switch that made all the difference. Cushiony comfort, thick and absorbent – in short, it was the spa-inspired pièce de résistance. Now, if only I could find a way to keep the kiddos out of my quiet little space… d’you think Cottonelle could help me with that?
Heads Up: Cottonelle has a special coupon offer right now for $3 off! Just click, print, and redeem!

Good bathroom space is SO important! I have a bathroom peeve, so I made extra effort to make my bathroom as pretty as possible... I'd say mine is more "cozy" than "spa" and it's ok, but I'm def' going for the "spa" look next time! :)
Is there anything better than really good quality TP?
It is true that you can't have a luxe bathroom with cheap toilet paper. I really came to appreciate good toilet paper when I was pregnant since I had to go so often. Single ply became a pet peeve of mine. |
