London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 Pics & Trends
London Fashion Week wrapped its Spring/Summer 2011 shows last week, and we're loving the bold trends from the runways:
Unique, Antonio Berardi, Kinder Aggugini
Masculine clothing made feminine was freer than in New York, with blousy pantlegs and full skirts. If there were any similarities to NY Fashion Week, that's where it ended. And how 'bout the hats?
Burberry Prorsum, Christopher Kane, Nicole Farhi
Some whites and neutrals were visible, but more so the bright neons and shimmery fabrics. Burberry splashed colour over its rock 'n roll black/white palette via stunning belts and sweet clutches.
Burberry Prorsum, Giles, Matthew Williamson
Prints and textures were eclectic, from patterned pants to gauzy earth tones in sharp contrast to New York - "More is More" in London.
Giles, House of Holland, Unique
Retro silhouettes showed flared pants and Tie Dye-esque prints.
Do you like London's bold approach to Spring 2011, or did you prefer New York's minimalism?
