Long Weekend Cocktail Round Up: Caesar
I adore caesars. I think they're my favourite cocktail, of all time. Which is saying something. They're spicy, salty and tangy. The perfect combination. Plus, you can get away with drinking them at brunch = awesome.
Since the long weekend is upon us (who else cannot wait to just sit in a hammock in the sun?), I thought it was only appropriate to present a few different caesar-iffic styles of cocktails to quench your thirst.
Caesar #1: Chipotle
Chipotle paste gives this caesar a smoky, deep flavourful taste. Check out the full recipe here.
Caesar #2: Maple and Bacon
A true Canadian drink! Try a bacon or maple infused vodka in this drink. Try garnishing with bacon salt rim or a slice of bacon. Try this recipe or this one right here.

Caesar #3: Snowcrab Caesar
I love any drink that comes with a snack, don't you? This refreshing cocktail is perfect for an appi! This would also be awesome with a lobster tail. Here's how to make it.

Caesar #4: Ready Made with Garnish
Feeling a little lazy? I got you. Try a ready made caesar and spruce it up with your choice of garnishes. I love anything pickled and cheese makes a great addition too.
What's your go-to summer cocktail?

We make one with a lemongrass stalk instead of celery, thai chilli peppers, kampot pepper, and Maggie sauce. Heavenly!
I don't mind trying the one with bacon. It's bacon after all :)
I've never been a big fan of Caesars, but I really don't think I would like the maple and bacon Caesar. Just seems like the wrong flavour.

Chipotle one looks amazing:)
Bacon caesars are pretty much the best thing ever.
Agreed, best cocktail!
Yum! I love Caesars, I would definitely try the Chipotle and the Ready Made ones!
I adore caesars, and these all look delicious! I always go crazy with the garnish, it's my favourite part of the drink. I usually do a celery stalk, then skewer a pickle, an olive, a green bean and a spicy pepperette. I'm gonna whip up that maple bacon one this weekend for sure!
I like just a regular Caesar. Crazy? Naw! It's all good! |
